Barca, Ugo, 73, of Newfoundland on Saturday, July 2, 2011. Born in Montecorice, Italy, he was the son of the late Emilio and Modestina (Chiariello) Barca. A resident of Newfoundland for the past 37 years, he was a tailor and proprietor of Hugo’s Custom Alterations of East Hanover, NJ and a parishioner of St. Joseph’s Church, West Milford. Surviving are two sons, Emilio and wife, Sharon of Newfoundland and Ugo Jr. and wife Laura of West Milford; one daughter, Tina Edie and husband Mark of West Milford; one brother, Louis and wife Jane of NC; one sister, Alfonzina Di Scola of Fair Lawn, NJ. Survived by grandchildren, Kristen, Victoria, Frank, Noelle, Brianna, Dominique, Christofer, Alexa, Matthew, Gabriella, Lucien and Margherita. Predeceased by his wife, Elda (Diminni); a daughter, Teresa Roberts, brother, Raphael, and sisters, Flora Chariello and Filonena DeLaCortilla. Funeral liturgy on Thursday, July 7, 2011 at St. Joseph’s Church, 464 Germantown Road, West Milford at 10:30 AM. Friends may call at the Richards Funeral Home, 4 Newark Pompton Turnpike, Riverdale, NJ on Wednesday (7/6) from 2 - 4 & 7 - 9 PM. Interment St. Joseph’s Church Cemetery.
