| DeVoto, Richard L.,
age 72, beloved husband of Connie A. (nee Civile) passed away Tuesday,
July 12, 2011. Born in Jersey City the son of Louis A. and Madelyn
(Garibaldi) DeVoto, he lived in North Arlington before moving to West
Milford 45 years ago. Richard served in the National Guard during the
early 1960's and had a long career in business management at Olin-Hunt
Corporation in West Paterson before retiring in 1996. He was
a West Milford Little League volunteer and its 1979 Man of the Year. His
real love and passion in life was his family. He was happily married to
his wife Connie for 49 years, they had five children, a son Louis J.
DeVoto and wife Anne, daughters Denise Podmokly and husband Richard,
Diane King, Michele Oroho and husband John and Christine A. Harvey and
husband Patrick and 16 grandchildren. Funeral Liturgy 10:30AM Friday,
July 15, 2011 at St. Joseph’s Church, West Milford. Interment in the
church cemetery. Visiting at the Richards Funeral Home, 1440 Union
Valley Road, West Milford Thursday 4-8 PM.
