Rose M. Gismondi, (Lagonia) 85, passed away Friday June 10, 2011. Born in Perth Amboy, NJ she resided in the Bronx, N.Y. before moving to Pompton Lakes many years ago. She was a homemaker, a parishioner of St. Mary's Church, Pompton Lakes, she was active in the parish school, where she worked as the librarian. Beloved mother of Barbara Matchett and husband Robert of Vernon, Neil and wife Cate of West Milford, and Marc of Oakland. Loving grandmother of Sean and Megan Matchett, Melissa Gismondi and Adam Gismondi and his wife Wendy. Also survived by her brother Louis Lagonia of the Bronx, and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her husband Mario in 2002 and a daughter Linda in 1958. Funeral liturgy Tuesday 11:30 A.M. at St. Mary's Church, Pompton Lakes. Interment St. Raymond's Cemetery, Bronx, N.Y.
