Heinks, Norman J., of Franklin, NJ passed away unexpectedly in his home on Friday, October 21, 2011, at the age of 62. He was born in Greensburg, PA. He was a Design Engineer Draftsman and worked at Westinghouse for 20 years and Bell Arts for 14 years. He was an active member of his church, The Journey Church, where he served as usher and deacon. He loved to hunt, fish and ski. Most of all he loved and enjoyed helping and doing for all of his family and others. Norm is the son of the late Norman R. Heinks and is survived by his mother, Dorothy Heinks of Columbia, MD, two sisters, Linda Nenna and her husband, John of Leesburg, VA and Pat Weir and her husband David of Ellicott City, MD, a niece, a nephew, two grandnieces and a grandnephew and his fiancé Marjory Flanagan of Wanaque, NJ and her family. Viewing will be Tuesday, October 25 at Richard’s Funeral Home, 1440 Union Valley Road, West Milford from 4 - 7 PM with a memorial service at 6:30 PM. In lieu of flowers those who desire may make donations either to the American Heart Association, 1 Union St., Suite 301, Robbinsville, NJ 08691 or his church, The Journey Church, 184 Marshall Hill Road, West Milford, NJ 07480 in West Milford, in his memory. Norm was loved and will be missed.
