Michaelson, Keith Paul, 52, of West Milford, was taken from this Earth unexpectedly on Friday, July 1, 2011 in Easton, PA. Keith died doing what he loved: riding a Harley. Born in Paterson, NJ, he was the son of Barbara Ann (Wildey) and Paul Michaelson Jr., both of whom predeceased him. Keith was a husband, father, brother, uncle, friend, sponsor, and to many, a hero. Everybody knew Keith! He earned his living as a realtor at Century 21 Visions Realty, West Milford, for 15 years where he helped countless families find houses that became homes. He was his daughters' softball coach for several years. Keith was also a member of the First Reformed Church of Pompton Plains, where he worshiped every Sunday. Keith was a member of the Last Chance Motorcycle Club, Greenwood Lake, NY, for over 20 years. He gave selflessly to others and when asked why, he always said that helping others kept him "green" and that he was only giving back what was given to him. Surviving are his wife, Luisa Jean (Grisafi); two daughters, Nicole Marie Michaelson-Traum and her husband, Jared; and Rebecca Lynn Michaelson-Santiago and her husband Francisco; two brothers, Kevin and his wife, Carol; and Paul and his wife, Penny. Fifteen nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services on Wednesday, July 6 at the First Reformed Church of Pompton Plains, Newark Pompton Turnpike, Pompton Plains at 11:30 AM. Friends may call at the Richards Funeral Home, 1440 Union Valley Road, West Milford on Tuesday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM. Final disposition private.
