| Pittelkow, Albert H., Jr.,
85, loving husband of 60 years to Helen M. (Wilke), was received into
the loving arms of his Savior, Monday, May 2, 2011. Born in Paterson,
NJ, Mr. Pittelkow lived in Pompton Lakes, NJ, for the past 53 years,
coming from the Totowa section of Paterson. He served in the US Navy
during WWII, Pacific Theatre and was a member of the Pompton Lakes VFW.
He had been employed as a production manager by Van Vlaanderen Machine
Co., Paterson. He served as a life-long faithful servant of St. Paul’s
Church, Pompton Lakes (originally Paterson). In addition to his wife, he
is also survived by son, Allen M. (and wife, Donna) of Pompton Plains,
NJ, daughters, Paula M Garrett (and husband, Steven) of Jacksonville,
FL, and Debra A. Verny (and husband, Lawrence) of Durham, NC,
grandchildren, Kimberly, Kelly, Lawrence, Jr., Lyndsay, Ashleigh,
Leanne, Rachel, Jocelyn, and Allen, Jr., and great-grandchildren,
Christian, Carson, Landon, Kaileigh, Stephen, and Heleana. He was
predeceased by his brother, Arthur J. and grandson, Steven, Jr.
Visitation 5-9 PM, Thursday, at the Richards Funeral Home, 4 Newark
Pompton Turnpike, Riverdale, NJ. Funeral Service 10 AM, Friday, at St.
Paul’s Church, Pompton Lakes. Entombment at George Washington Memorial
Park, Paramus, NJ. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Paul’s
