| Shaw, Joseph H., 86,
husband of Shirley (Fischer), passed away Monday, July 11, 2011. Born in
Morristown, NJ, Mr. Shaw lived in Riverdale, NJ, for 59 years, coming
from Verona, NJ. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II, and was
a loving and giving Husband, Father, Grandfather, and Uncle. He was a
retired service technician for A.M. International, Mountainside, NJ. He
was a Past Chairman of Riverdale Recreation, Manager of Riverdale Little
League, and a member of Riverdale Senior Citizens, and Butler V.F.W. In
addition to his wife, he is also survived by his sons, Joseph G. (and
wife, Michelle), and Robert T. (and wife, Heide), daughter, Donna
Marines (and husband, Robert), grandchildren, Tina, Heather, Bryan,
Kelly, Ryan, and Lauren, and great-grandchildren, Andrew, Jordan, and
Kyla. Mr. Shaw is predeceased by his parents, Joseph and Harriet
(McConnell) Shaw, and brothers, Dalton T. Shaw and Edward Herbert Shaw.
Funeral Service 11 AM, Friday at the Richards Funeral Home, 4 Newark
Pompton Turnpike, Riverdale, NJ. Interment at Prospect Hill Cemetery,
Caldwell, NJ. Visitation Thursday, 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM. In lieu of
flowers, donations to Disabled American Veterans, P.O. Box 14201,
Cincinnati, OH 45250-0301 would be appreciated.
