Finley, Robert (“Bob”), age 71, of West Milford, NJ, passed away on December 13, 2021 with his loving wife by his side. Bob was predeceased by his parents, Jay C. Finley Jr. and Elsie (Miller) Finley; brother, Jay C. Finley III and sister, Kathleen Devaney. He is survived by his beloved wife, Regina; daughter, Ryan; and son, Robert and his wife Karen. Anyone who knew Bob, knew that he was a kind and loving soul with a worry-free regard for life. He was a wise and quick-witted man who enjoyed history, politics and a decent cup of joe. Bob would talk to anyone about anything and had a way of making everyone he met feel comfortable and appreciated. After retiring from a 30-year career with the phone company, he devoted every day of his life to supporting his wife as she navigated the ups and downs of cancer. Nothing made him happier than finding ways to keep her spirits up and distract her from the constant worry. He was a true gem. Bob’s friends and family will miss him more than words can say. A funeral mass will be held at Our Lady Queen of Peace Church in Hewitt, NJ on January 8, 2022 at 10:30 AM. Naughton, Mary C., 91 of Pompton Lakes, NJ on Monday, December 13, 2021. Beloved wife of the late Joseph Naughton. Born in Paterson, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Frank Occhipinti and Cecilia Vreeland and had been employed by American Cyanamid in Wayne, NJ until her retirement. Surviving are a son, David of Manhattan, NY, a daughter, Linda Spieler of OH, sister, Patricia Eichvalds of NJ, one granddaughter, Shannon Heilman and two great grandchildren, Trinity and Logan. Oakley, Diane “Cathy”, 58, of West Milford on Thursday, December 23, 2021. Beloved wife of Terry Oakley. Born in Pequannock, NJ, she was the daughter of Diane (Walsh) Kay and the late Ralph Kay. Diane was employed as a clerk for the Shop Rite of West Milford. Surviving are one daughter, Crystal Froatz of Sandyston, NJ and a sister, Colleen Welland of Pfafftown, NC. Predeceased by a brother, Ralph Kay. Also surviving are two grandchildren, Georgia and Delainey Froatz. All services are private.
Reeve, Brandon Kyle, age 38, of Newfoundland, NJ passed away on December 12, 2021, joining his predeceased sister Amanda Moeller, grand-father, Elmer Glaeser, grandmother Jane Glaeser, and aunt Michelle Harris. He was a very loving person with a big heart. He had a great sense of humor, was a loving son, and friend to many. Brandon is survived by his brother Tyler Reeve, mother Sandra Reeve, and father Philip Reeve. He is also survived by his birth father Michael Moeller, and his half brothers, Joey and Michael Moeller. Rodriguez, Peter James, 30 of Hackensack passed away December 27, 2021. Born in Teaneck, NJ to Pete and Kerri (Coffey) Rodriguez, he worked for White Maple Cafe in Ridgewood. Peter was a former construction worker for Metal Lathers Local 46, NYC. In addition to his parents, Peter is survived by his son Jordan James Rodriguez, two sisters Samantha and Kacie Smith her husband Nick Smith, maternal grandfather Hugh Coffey, his wife Lourdes , paternal grandparents Lucia Montalvo and Pedro Rodriguez, niece Riley Smith and nephew Jameson Smith. As well as his uncles, aunts, and cousins. Predeceased by his maternal grandmother Jacqueline Coffey. Visitation Friday December 31, 4-8 pm at Richards Funeral Home, 4 Newark-Pompton Turnpike, Riverdale. Funeral mass Saturday January 1st, 11 am at St. Mary's Church, Pompton Lakes. Private interment. Stratton, Stephen P. II, 39, a lifelong resident of West Milford, NJ. on Sunday, December 26, 2021. Born in Newton, NJ, he was the son of Margaret (Schwenzer) and Stephen P. Stratton. Vieth, Sonja E., 91, passed away peacefully at home on December 14, 2021. Born in Philadelphia, PA, Sonja has resided in Ringwood for over seventy years. Sonja retired in 1991 after teaching for 25 years in the Ringwood Public School System. She was a Master Gardener and member of the Ringwood Garden Club for forty years. She was a volunteer at the New Jersey Botanical Gardens/Skylands Association with over 10,000 hours of service. Beloved mother of Sandra Vieth, Carl Vieth and wife Karen, John Vieth and wife Barbara. Sister of Peter Merkel and wife Bonnie. Grandmother of Lauren Vieth Eagan and husband Marty, Kevin Vieth and wife Christina. Great Grandmother of Braden Eagan and Ava Vieth. Sonja was predeceased by her husband Adolf. A memorial service will be planned in the Spring of 2022. Private arrangements entrusted to Richards Funeral Home, West Milford.
Woronekin, Nicola, 73, passed away December 25, 2021. Born in Belgium to his late parents Fedir and Olena, he came to the United States in 1956. Nicola resided in Paterson before moving to Hewitt twenty four years ago. Nicola was a school bus driver for the West Milford Township school system. Beloved husband of Rose (Indomenico) Woronekin, Loving father of Nicholas Woronekin, Danielle Woronekin and spouse Jessica Verpeut. Brother of Vera Orr and Henry Apanasik as well as nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his brothers Michael and Anatoly. Memorial visiting will be at Richards Funeral Home, 1440 Union Valley Road, West Milford on Saturday January 15, 2022 from 2-4 p.m.
