Carelli, Gloria, 86, of Riverdale, passed peacefully on to the Lord on June 27th, reuniting with her husband of 59 years, John Carelli, who predeceased her in 2012. She is survived by her five children, John, Mark, Paul, Regina, and Gail, and their families consisting of her twelve grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren. Gloria was an accomplished business woman and was active in a variety of community organizations, often in a leadership position. She received an associate degree in commercial and fine art from Pratt Institute in 1952. After starting her family of five children, she co-founded and, for decades, served as Executive Vice-President of the highly successful and award-winning advertising agency, Carelli, Glynn, and Ward. She served as president of the Board of Trustees for Chilton Hospital, the Kinnelon Borough Council, and both the Advertising Club of Northern New Jersey and the New Jersey Council for Advertising. She was a member of the New Jersey Constitutional Bicentennial Committee and was involved in a variety of organizations supporting women and children. She was also involved in the Smoke Rise Players for many years, and more recently, served as president of the Riverdale Seniors Club. In addition to her business and community interests, Gloria maintained a lifelong commitment to charitable work. In keeping with her strong Catholic faith, she was active in both St. Mary’s and Our Lady of the Magnificat churches, contributing time and effort to charitable endeavors too numerous to list. In recent years, she started and ran the Riverdale Food Pantry to supply food to those in need. Over the years, Gloria never lost the connection to her artistic roots. She continued to create sculpture, paintings, and pencil and pastel sketches. Despite all her contributions, she would always maintain that her most important accomplishment was her family, which is grateful for the outpouring of love and affection they have received. She will be sorely missed, not only by them, but by all whose hearts she touched. Calling hours will be on Monday, July 2nd, from 2-4pm and 7-9pm at Richards Funeral Home in Riverdale, NJ. A funeral Mass will be held at 11:00am on Tuesday, July 3rd at Saint Mary’s Catholic Church in Pompton Lakes, NJ. Fulton, Eileen Ruth, nee Wilke, age 89, of West Milford, NJ formerly of Montvale, NJ died peacefully at home on June 15, 2018 after a lengthy illness. She was born in Springfield, MA, the daughter of the late Elmer and Helen (Dowd) Wilke but grew up in West Haven, CT on the shore of Long Island Sound where she spent her summers swimming which she loved. She graduated from West Haven High School in 1946 and Beaver College (now Acadia University), Jenkintown, PA in 1950. She was Secretary to the Director of Placement for Yale Law School until her marriage to William K. Fulton of Warnock, Ohio. She was Executive Secretary to leadership of the American Cyanamid Company and held multiple administrative assistant positions throughout her career in the Northern Bergen County area. Eileen and William raised their family and lived in Montvale, NJ for 41 years prior to moving to West Milford, NJ. Eileen is survived by her husband William K. Fulton, four children, Catherine (Dan O’Connor) Fulton Randolph, VT, Jeffrey (Alison) Fulton of Bonner Springs, KS, Patricia Salerno (Michael) of Providence RI and Michael (Lorena) Fulton of Vernon NJ, and three grandchildren, Christen, Luke and Lara Cevoli. She was also predeceased by her brothers John Wilke of Florence, AL and Robert Wilke of North Haven, CT. She is also survived by sisters-in-law Eileen Wilke and Betty Fulton, dozens of nieces and nephews and her loving and dedicated personal caregiver, Gilda Figueroa. Eileen had an outgoing personality, a beautiful smile, an infectious laugh and was loved and respected by all who knew her. She remained very close to her children and grandchildren, guiding her family through life’s journey with her characteristic compassion, sense of humor and unremitting love. She will be eternally missed by her family and friends. A Memorial Visitation will be held on Monday, June 18 from 2:00 until 4:00 pm at the Richards Funeral Home 1440 Union Valley Road in West Milford, NJ. Glennon, Thomas, 84, beloved husband of the late Lucille (Hamilton) Glennon, he was resident of West Milford for 54 years. He had been employed as a Sr. Vice President for J.E. Brenneman and Company of Philadelphia. He had many interests and was a Lodi High School wrestler, a certified scuba diver, judo competitor, Foreman for Jarco Bros and the World Trade Center Construction, Port Authority Plumbing Inspector, Project manager for a Water Treatment Plant in Reading, PA, and Sewage Treatment Plant Project Manager in Hershey, PA. Surviving are sons Thomas Glennon Jr. of West Milford and James Glennon of Dumont, daughters Tracey Ronan of West Milford, Faith Shuttleworth of Oak Ridge and Paige Issac of Bloomfield, brother Eugene Glennon of Clearwater, FL and sister Catherine Smith of Paramus, 16 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. In addition to his wife he was also predeceased by his daughter Jennifer Delannoy. Heimers, Michael S., 28, on Saturday, June 9, 2018. Born in Warwick, NY, he was the son of Lisa Palomba and Stephen Heimers and was a lifelong resident of West Milford. He was employed as a welder by Metal Menders of Hewitt, NJ. Surviving in addition to his parents are one brother, Stephen of West Milford and a sister, Jacqueline Fisher (husband, James) of West Milford. Toy fox terriers, Duncan and Ava also survive. Joan C. Hopper, 72, beloved wife of Robert V. Hopper Jr. died on June 6, 2018. Born in Paterson to Robert and Catherine Womack on April 19, 1946, she grew up in Ramsey before moving to West Milford in August, 1977. She was a dedicated secretary for a bank and real estate appraisal company before retiring. As a long time cancer survivor, she spent 12 years doing newspaper promotions for the local Relay for Life. She was a caring wife, mom, and grandmother who loved gardening and sharing the joy of the flowers she nurtured. Surviving are her children, Robert V. Hopper III of Raleigh, N.C. and Amy Redner of Pequannock. Three grandchildren, Sophia Hopper, Troy Redner and Aaron Redner knew her as Grammie as she liked to be called. Joan’s grandchildren were her love and joy. She was predeceased by grandson Samuel “Sammy” Colardo Hopper, who is gravely missed. Donations in her memory can be made to the American Cancer Society. Kral, Coleen A. (McLaughlin), 54, a homemaker and beloved wife of Jeffrey Kral from Oak Ridge, NJ on Saturday, June 30, 2018. Born in Saddle Brook, NJ, she was the daughter of the late John and Margaret (Fox) McLaughlin and a resident of Oak Ridge for the past 28 years moving from Elmwood Park, NJ. A resident of West Milford for the past 17 years, she had previously lived in Cliffside Park, NJ and had been employed as an office manager for Holy Name Hospital in Teaneck, NJ. Stapleton, James Thomas, Jr., 75, of West Milford, NJ. Born in Jersey City, NJ, He was the son of the late James T. and Louise (Jacovino) Stapleton Sr. and a resident of West Milford for the past 37 years. A Navy veteran, he was employed by Gardner Denver International as an air compressor technician. James was a member of the American Motorcycle Association and the Cycle Alley Riders of Paterson, NJ. Watson, Robert W., 55, passed away Thursday June 28, 2018. Born in Paterson to his late parents William and Lillian (VanderWiehle) Watson he resided in West Milford for the past twenty three years coming from Hawthorne. Mr. Watson worked for J.R. Haftek Excavating, Paterson and was active in the Sons of Thunder Riding Club and Abundant Life Worship Center, Lincoln Park. Beloved husband of Janice (Platoni) Watson, loving father of Nina Brenda Watson of West Milford, brother of Bryan Watson of Vernon and William Watson of Colorado. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his sister Brenda Jean Watson in 1977.
