Donnelly, Francis J. It is with great sadness that the Donnelly family regrets to announce the passing of Francis J, Donnelly. Francis was a longtime resident of West Milford, having arrived in 1964 with family in tow. Francis joined the Air Force out of high school and worked for military intelligence during the Korean War. He later married Nancy Donnelly, with whom he raised two children, James and Daniel. Francis and Nancy would later divorce after their children grew to adulthood. He was a fiercely bright and inquisitive man, pursuing a broad range of hobbies including but not limited to scuba diving, fishing, hunting, mineral collecting, fossil collecting, mussel loading rifle building, archery and more. An avid reader, in later years he developed interests in eastern and new age philosophies, practice tai chi and spent thousands of hours exploring various forms of meditation. He practiced dowsing, Silva Mind Control and learned numerous healing modalities. This is all to say he lived his life to the fullest.
