Bostrom, Ruth B., (Mills), 72, passed away October 18, 2019. Born in Dover, NJ to Richard and Mae Mills, she lived in Hewitt for the past forty seven years, formerly of the Milton section of Jefferson, N.J. Ruth was a devoted Nanny looking after children locally for many years. She is survived by her beloved husband of fifty five years Peter. Loving mother of Donna Genader of Highland Lakes, Peter Bostrom Jr. of Barry Lakes, David Bostrom and his wife Kelly of Vernon. Sister of Evelyn Hickerson of Sussex, and Gloria Brett of North Carolina. Devoted grandmother to Samantha Ruth, Tiffany Mae and William Vaughan Genader, and great-grandmother of Michael Genader. Friends may visit the family on Tuesday October 22 from 3-7 P.M, with prayers and moments of reflection at 5:30 pm. Final disposition is private. Burgos, Basiliso Cortés, of Pompton Lakes, NJ, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on Monday, October 7, 2019. He was 78. Born in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico, Basiliso was the son of the late Jesús and Anita Burgos. He moved from Puerto Rico to the Bronx, NY where he met his wife Jennie McNamee and married on July 28, 1962. They moved to Pompton Lakes, New Jersey in 1965 where they raised four beautiful children. Basil was a New York City taxi driver for 25 years. He also worked for Calvin Klein Cosmetics in Oakland, NJ. He bought a luncheonette in 1987 called Burgie’s. When he moved to Toms River, NJ from Pompton Lakes, he founded his own taxi business called AB Taxi. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Jennie Burgos; his children of Manahawkin, NJ, West Creek, NJ and Dingman’s Ferry, PA, Christopher Burgos and his wife Diane Parrella; his daughter Maria Moffa and husband Michael, his son Richard Burgos and his wife Denise Thielke and his daughter Catherine Franks and her husband Thomas; his grandchildren, Michael, Shayna, Caroline, Thomas, Kelsie, and Jack. Visiting hours will be held from 5 to 8 PM Friday, October 11th at Richards Funeral Home, Riverdale, NJ. A funeral mass will be held at 9:30 AM Saturday at St. Mary’s RC Church, Pompton Lakes. Interment will follow at Christ the King Cemetery, Franklin Lakes. Klepacky, Dorothy H. (Hunter), 82, passed away October 16, 2019. Born in Tarrytown, N.Y., was a resident of Pompton Lakes for the past fifty years. Mrs. Klepacky was a telephone operator for N.J. Bell Telephone Company, and a former Girl Scouts Leader in Pompton Lakes. Beloved mother of Sue, Wendy and Cindy Klepacky, Ronald Klepacky, Amy Post and her husband Michael, Michael Klepacky and his wife Melissa. Also survived by a sister Linda, six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her husband Ronald Klepacky, a sister Roberta Nagy and a brother Richard Hunter. Cynthia worked in the field of Architecture Design and was employed by Construction Information Systems in Kinnelon, NJ as a Researcher. Westerhoff, Peter B. , 81, of Bloomingdale, NJ passed away on October 23, 2019 leaving behind his wife Lois (Lentz) Westerhoff. Born in Ringwood, NJ Peter spent thirty years in Fort Lauderdale, Florida before settling in Bloomindale in 2016. He was a cabinet maker and was employed by Custom Kraft Kitchens in Riverdale, NJ. Survived by one brother, Glenn Gormley of Boonton, One sister, Marylou (Gormley) Touzet of Pennsylvania, 2 daughters, Donna Skinner of NY and Sue Ellen Westerhoff of Leesburg, Fl., 3 step children, Cynthia Gonzalez of Bloomingdale, Christine Spano of Bloomingdale, and John Gonzalez of Mt. Olive. Peter also has 10 grandchildren and 8 Great-Grandchildren.
