Richard J. Baker, 73, passed away September 22, 2018. Born in Franklin Lakes to the late Harry and Evelyn Baker, he lived in Ringwood for 38 years before moving to West Milford ten years ago. Mr. Baker was vice president of stores for Tourneau Watch Co. before retiring, an Army veteran of Vietnam, and served as Treasurer on the Bald Eagle Commons Board Committee in West Milford. Beloved father of Jason Baker, wife Joanne and Debra Robbins, husband Bryon. Brother of Patricia Grover, and grandfather of Mackenzie, Justin, Madison, Mia. Predeceased by his wife Kathleen in 2016. Marmolejos, Irenarose (Van Dunk), 30, passed away Wednesday, September 26, 2018. Beloved wife of Francisco Marmolejos and daughter of John and Mary (De Groat) Van Dunk, she was a lifelong resident of Ringwood, NJ. She had been employed as an office manager for Dr. Anil Kapoor in Wayne NJ. In addition to her husband and parents, also surviving are three sons, Giovanni, Brendyn and Rowan, brother Jonathan Van Dunk and grandmother Sylvia Van Dunk all of Ringwood. Ross, Suzanne G. (Baker), 79, of Pompton Lakes, NJ on Saturday, September 29, 2018 the daughter of the late Franklin and Gertrude (Wilson) Baker. Beloved wife of the late James G. Ross and a resident of Pompton Lakes for the past 53 years moving here from Richfield Park. Suzanne was employed by St. Joseph’s Hospital in Paterson as a food service worker. Surviving are one son, James G. II and wife, Janet of Hollywood, FL, a daughter, Diana L. Smith of Pompton Lakes and one sister, Elaine Baker of Taos, NM. Seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren also survive. Memorial visitation at Richards Funeral Home, 4 Newark Pompton Turnpike, Riverdale, NJ on Wednesday, October 3 from 4 to 7 PM.
Sobota, Andrea C., of Neptune, NJ passed away on Sunday, September 16, 2018 at the age of 54 after a lengthy illness. Andrea was born in Hackensack, NJ. She graduated from Ramapo College of New Jersey with a degree in psychology. She worked for many years in human resources and later as a paralegal. Andrea loved to travel and visited many faraway places. She will always be remembered for her sense of humor and quick wit, and for always being there for her family and friends in times of need. Andrea opened her home and heart to everyone. She was an amazing friend to so many in many ways, always putting others before herself. She truly enjoyed the good times and would support you through tough times. Her family meant to world to her and many of her friends were like family. Andrea also loved dogs and for a time had a pet-sitting business. She is survived by her brother, John Sobota of Coconut Creek, FL, and her uncles Gus Albino and Danny Albino and several cousins. She was predeceased by her parents, Andrew and Angela Sobota (Albino) and her brother Michael. Viewing will be on Thursday, September 27th, 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Richards Funeral Home, 1440 Union Valley Rd., West Milford, NJ. A funeral mass will be on Friday, September 28th, 11 a.m. at St. Joseph's Church, 454 Germantown Rd., West Milford, NJ with interment to follow at the church cemetery. Suskewicz, Theodore A., 74, passed away on September 6, 2018. Beloved husband to Fay (Salvesen) Suskewicz and son of the late Theodore and Ethel (Dougherty) Suskewicz, he was a resident of West Milford for 45 years, coming from Franklin Lakes. Theodore had previously been employed as Vice President of Tilcon in Mt. Hope, NJ. In addition to his wife, surviving are daughters Amy Murphy of West Milford, and Jaime Suskewicz of New Milford, sister Frances Ehrhardt of West Milford, and grandchildren Declan and Gavin. He was predeceased by sister Kerry Suskewicz. Trahan, Eileen L. (Kesar), 74, of West Milford on Wednesday, September 19, 2018. Beloved wife of John Trahan and the daughter of Charles and Katherine Kesar. Born in Hoboken, she has been a resident of West Milford for the past 50 years and employed as an office manager for Uddeholm Steel in Totowa, NJ. Eileen was a dedicated mother and wife. She loved animals and adopted many of the family pets from the West Milford Animal Shelter. In addition to working full time, Eileen offered her time to be her son’s Cub Scout Den Leader and she also was the President of the West Milford Highlanders’ Football Booster Club in 1982. Surviving in addition to her husband, John, are three sons, John of West Milford, Matt of Richmond VA, Mark of Bergenfield, NJ and one granddaughter Morgan Trahan. Von Atzingen, John J., 71, passed away on September 19, 2018. Beloved husband of Gloria (Mc Phail) Von Atzingen, married 50 years, and son of the late Frank and Alice (Stanton) Von Atzingen, he was a Hewitt resident for 47 years. He was a Coast Guard Veteran, having served in the Vietnam War, a past Commander of the Frank M. Sell American Legion in West Milford and had been employed as a supervisor for First Student Bus Service in Lincoln Park, NJ. In addition to his wife surviving are son Robert, (companion, Tammy), daughter Lisa, grandchildren Bruce Monrou and Tyler Nauta and Godchild Bobbie Stanton. Visitation Monday, September 24, 4-8 PM at Richards Funeral Home, 1440 Union Valley Road, West Milford, NJ. Service 10 AM Tuesday at the Funeral Home.
